Alcohol Consumption Policy

Purpose and Applicability

This policy governs the solution and/or consumption of alcohol based drinks at Roger Williams University, including Roger Williams University class of Law (“University”), and pertains to occasions in the University’s Bristol, Portsmouth (Baypoint), and Providence (One Empire Street) campuses and off-campus University-sponsored activities.   • 3rd party seminars, activities, conferences, and receptions.

This policy doesn’t connect with the annotated following:

  • The control or use of alcohol based drinks by University students or their visitors which will not happen at A university-sponsored occasion (governed by the pupil Handbook and noted in this document);
  • The control or usage of alcoholic beverages by Coordinators of Residential Education (“CORE”) or their visitors avove the age of 21 in MAIN flats (governed because of the CORE Staff Manual);
  • The consumption or possession of alcohol consumption by University workers who have a home in University flats or their visitors older than 21 inside their assigned University flats; or
  • The control or use of alcohol consumption in the University Residence by the President, their loved ones, or their guests that are personal or even to occasions during the University Residence of ten or less individuals.
